Position description:
We are looking for a Communications Expert, who specializes in business communication to work at Invact – Bangalore office. This role is a strategically important function for Invact, since this role would directly compliment student effectiveness augmentation efforts in line with our organizational mission. We need an individual who has teaching/training experience and someone who has conducted interactive training sessions in the past. The position will involve extensive collaboration, as the person on board is required to initially act as abridge between students and teachers in our metaMBA program.
Structure and Reporting
As one of the founding members in the Curriculum Team, you will directly report to the Head of Curriculum and you will be expected to work in close cooperation with other members of the Invact team that may include Strategy, Business Expansion, etc. With community coaching being an intrinsic part of the role, this comes with a sense of deep commitment to student engagement and community reform, and has the potential to quickly accelerate vertically.
Responsibilities
Acting largely as a Curriculum and Career Advancement Specialist, your primary responsibilities include but not limited to the below duties. You will:
- Conduct bi-weekly business communications sessions with students of the metaMBA program and give concrete feedback on how students can improve their written assignments and presentations
- Facilitate weekly mock interview sessions, help students talk about their strengths and their CV
- Proofread course content provided by the educators
- Act as a Teaching Assistant for courses, which means assisting educators in grading and compiling grades, conducting follow-ups with students and asking them to follow deadlines, compiling doubts of students and sharing them with the educator, conducting plagiarism checks
- Teach a “Spoken English” course in the future
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master’s in English, Communication, Journalism or a related field
- Exceptional publics peaking and writing skills
- Excellent inter persona land communication skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in running targeted skill enhancement programs, who has proven success in implementing innovative training techniques, assuring best in class learning experiences to the participants.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree preferably in English, Communication, or business
- Experience: Min 1year experience, preferably in Career Counselling

Proposed Salary:
70k (for a young postgrad)- 90k (if someone is qualified to teach at a university)
